Dear Family,
This past week we were able to take off our jackets. Now it's warm enough that we can wear our short sleeve shirts. I'm glad we can take of our jackets. My pants are starting to get shiny, or worn in. I'll take them to a dry cleaner but I noticed that my olive suit coat has a hole on the inside and it's starting to work it's way out. It's where my belt and my backpack rub. Hopefully it doesn't go all the way thru.
This coming up Saturday we will get our transfer calls. I wouldn't mind staying one more but I don't know if I can do two more. Elder Scoggin says he wouldn't mind staying here in Warden.
This past week something cool happened. In march our mission had a goal to get 90 baptisms in the month in May. And some how that trickled down to Elder L. Tom Perry and he said he could see us reaching that. So it kind of gave us confidence. So we went to Hadi's house and talked about baptism. Also another family, we know that at least 3-4 people are ready to go.
We were supposed to have a baptism this week, but he didn't come to church so we will have to wait. That's Eddy, he was the one we tried in february, he still looks good for May.
I'm close to the top of the hill, with my spanish I mean. Don't worry I'm not counting the days. Since Elder Scoggin can't speak it's been up to me. I like that because it helps me have more faith in the Lord. also what I need to study.
Elder Scoggin kind of comes from a poor family. But his parents from what I can tell live from pau check tp pay check. So this past week I bought him an electronic dictionary like mine. He was way excited for it.
This upcoming week will be fun. But last night I crashed on my bike and sprained it. I could barly walk on it. But I iced it so it's getting better. It will hurt for a week or two but it's not bad enough to go to the dr.
