Dear Family,

I miss Warden because I knew the area, the members, and the schedule. My companion's name is Elder Lively. He has been out about 8 months. His spanish is really good. It was weird going from Elder Sloggin to him. Also I thought that I was going to cover just two cities. But we cover Brewster, Pateros, Bridgeport, Carlton, Mithow, Twisp, and Winthrop. They are good size towns. And they are so far apart. So are the members. In Brewster we are in an english branch. With any one hispanic. Also in Twisp. Just an english branch. So we are trying to work both. Also find for both. Plus re-activate for both. It's a lot of work but it will definalty keep us busy.

I'm also the District Leader. I was excited to be called to it. Their is just me and my companion and the Chelan Elders. So it's small but it's fun. The area here is really pretty we are in the mountians next to the Columbia river. We live with the Swihart family, they are an older couple. The first day I was here, I had to sign a contract. Which had 8 rules. And to be honest, I thought it was lame. The rules were like only whispering in the house, need to stay in our room. Can't use the cell phone, and daily inspection. But I signed it so that their wouldn't be problems. Then after I handed it to Brother Swihart, he gave it back and said it was a joke. I couldn't believe I fell for it, I thought he was serious.

Everything is going great. I'm excited to see what the lord will do here. President Clark and President Palmer will go and come July 1st. I'm excited to see what will happen. I hope Father's Day was good. I gave a talk about dad in sacreament meeting. Hadi didn't get baptized but hopefully Elder Scoggin and Elder Carling can help him. Also those kids avoid us now. Don't know why but they have been droped.
