July 20, 2009

Dear Family,

This past week a lot of good things happened. First we have two guys that we are teaching. The said they want to be baptized. But we need to teach more and have them come to church. Blanca is Hispanic but can speak English. Her dad wants her to wait. So we will wait a couple more weeks. I gave a talk in the Twisp Branch. My talk was going to be five minutes long. But Elder Lively and I heard that we were the only one's talking. So I talked about a couple success stories. Which turned it into a 15 minute talk.

Today we went to Quincy as a District to meet the zone. It was to build unity. We are Spanish food. Then we went to a field and played soccer. It was fun to come together as a zone. In Quincy I met Sister Webbly. The missionaries live with her, and so did I. It was good to visit her again. This will be our last week of the transfer. This Saturday we will get a call from President Palmer. I wouldn't mind staying in Brewster. And with Elder Lively. He is a good Elder. He speaks good Spanish. And is a good missionary. Being a District leader is fun. I hope I can continue in some type of leadership.
Love you all!

Love, Elder Garrett
