Dear Family,

Things have been going really well. But we droped two of our investigators. The one we met cutting her yard, and the one we met walking home. They both are really good people but just not ready yet. But we do have two hispanic ladies who are reading the things that we left. And they are asking some good questions. My companion doesn't know spanish nor does he want to learn. So i'm doing all the spanish which I don't mind.

My companion is a good all around guy, but sometimes we don't agree but that's what it's like with every body. I enjoy being a District Leader and having extra responsability. It helps me be better in all that I do. Last friday we had a zone conference. And President Palmer told us that David A. Bednar the Apostal is going to come and visit or mission. So on the 17th of October our whole mission will come together. So I will be able to see Elder Peterson. That will be cool to see an Apostle and family.

The Brewster Branch has had a lot of trials and tribulations. We just had a death in the branch. Dick Dildine died of old age. We all knew it was going to happen. But the weird thing is that we stopped in to see if we could help. 45 minutes after we left he passed away. I really liked him and definatly will miss his attitude. I'm really enjoying my mission. I'm learning new things each day. I love speaking spanish and working with them and being in their culture. I'm very gratefull and blessed to serve the lord.
