Dear Family,
General Conference was amazing. It's funny when you pay attention you get so much more. The same thing is happening with the scriptures. One of the talks given talked about gaurdian angels. It was funny because right before that session me and Elder Frazier were biking up a hill to go visit a less active member. The hill wasn't very long or steep but we go slow to get up it.
While we were biking a big black lab starts running after us. It's barking and growling, and getting closer. We both start peddling as fast as we could. But it was getting closer. It was about 5 feet away from me when Elder Frazier yelled at it. The Dog stopped dead in it's tracks and started to run back towards it's house. Their was something more than Elder Frazier's voice that stopped that dog. Elder Frazier said that wasn't the first time he had that type of experience.
We recieved our transfer calls on Saturday. Turns out I'm staying here in Wenatchee for another 6 weeks. Elder Frazier is going to open a new area called Brewster. He will also be training a new missionary. Elder Reyna will be coming here. He was my first compainion in Quincy. That never happens. But I am really excited to work with him again. My spanish is coming. I can't speak my mind yet, but I can almost understand everything. I'm excited to see what's going to happen this next transfer. Hopefully their is still enough work to keep dad busy. I hope all is well. Talk to you next week.
Love,
Elder Garrett
