Dear Family,
The next week will be my last week of this transfer. It looks like I'll be staying here. But I wont know till next saturday. I love Spanish food. I eat so much I'm beggining to turn into a Mexican. We have a lot of good investigators for next Month. Since my spanish is a little better,by the end of next transfer I should be able to teach on my own. Elder Frazier is a great compainion, he loves spanish, and loves to joke around. When we have the bikes we race up 5th. 5th is a long street with a gradual incline. We are getting a lot of work done and having fun at the same time.
It's starting to get cold so if you could send the blanket that Gram made and my big coat. That would be great. Also christmas ideas, their is this electronic dictionary that is really thin. It's about $50.00 and you can get it at office depot. Then a white shirt, tie, don't send a lot of food, because I still have a lot of food from the fist box. You can send some snickers and some apple sauce, and a bag of cereal. Also you can send some long sleeves garments. And a new testiment study guide. You don't have to get all of these but pick a few and that will be fine.
Pictures would be good also, and maybe a spainsh hymn cd. The only thing I need is my winter coat and the bed cover. My bikes holding up I think it will last the winter so I think I'll be good. Also the best thing to send for christmas would be money. That way I can get what I need. Speaking of money my card isn't good any more. The strip on the back is wearing away. The computer is having a hard time reading it. I mainly use cash but not all the time. I'll use the ATM today so hopefully it will work.
I can't believe i've been out this long, seems like yesterday I was graduating high school. Time goes by way to fast. I need to take pictures to remember. Did Brandon get any elk yet? Is dad still running two crews? Is all my stuff gone or is it still their? Don't worry about me voting. But if you want me to vote for the new amendment then let me know.
The lord has a marvoules work before us. So keep looking for opportunites to serve the lord.
I love you all,
Elder Garrett
