Dear Family,

This past Sunday I stood in the circle when we confirmed Andrea the mom and Jocelyn the 10 year old daughter. I didn't do it but I was apart of it. Our branch is small but bigger than Quincy. It has about thirty people but that includes kids. Since we are just spanish Elders we go to one meeting.

Quincy was fun, it is only a 20-30 min. drive. It was kind of weird because I was already use to Wenatchee. Those pictures are pretty cool. It would have been fun to see Jills face. Man Tyler just keeps getting bigger. All I have is my green blanket at night. I will need the comforter that gram made. Also some more long sleeve shirts and some thermals. But maybe you could send them next month.

Well my spanish is coming slowly. But it will come. I'm talking to a lot of people so hopefully it will pay off. Tell Jose' that his people feed me well. Also tell him that I love Pozole, It is really good. It is a soup with corn that looks like it's been pooped.(at least I think that's what he wrote!) They also dump the whole pig in. They throw the bones in, the skin, feet. And so when you eat it you get some surprises. What's this jar with money? And dad who's going to help with lights? Well I can't think of any thing else so hasta la vista!

Love,
Elder Garrett
