I love Wenatchee, I love the members and all the good food they have given. Also my bike has given me some good memories. The biggest memory is the 7 gears, it was really hard to bike up the hills. My legs are really strong now. I'm starting to beat Elder Reyna up the hills. It's alot of good times. I have grown alot in Wenatchee, my spanish is to the point where I can hold my own. So much that President Clark has transfered me to another area to be the senior companion. He told me that I'm going to Warden. Elder Jacobson will be my companion and I have 2 more transferes than him. So that means that he is still learning spanish. The gift of tounges will have to come into play alot more. I will have to rely on the Lord because their won't be anybody there to fall back on. I hear from the other missionaries that Warden is alot smaller than Quincy. Also that everybody in town is related in one way shape or form. I still have the card that Lisa's mom gave me. So I will keep an eye out for her family.
This next transfer will cover Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope I get mexican food, I love the flavor, taste and the spicyness. I know toungue, liver, and head meat "cabeza" sound nasty, but with rice, beans, chile, and tortillas it is really good.
Elder Reyna is staying here in Wenatchee and he is going to train a new missionary. I'm not worried at all about the investigators Elder Reyna is a great missionary.
Elder Frahm is done with his mission, he flew back to Utah monday. He lives in Pleasant Grove, and I told him to swing by the bank, or flag down one of Dad's trucks to say hi!
Margarita is the investigator we had on date. Two weeks ago we visited her Saturday night to see if she needed a ride to church, she said she did. So the next morning we went by and found a letter on the door that said "Lo Siento, yo me voy a la las vega, por que' mi hermana necesita ayudar" which basically means my sister need my help in Las Vegas, sorry. We were bumbed. But the note also said she would be back by thursday. So we went by thursday and her husband said she wasn't going to be back for another week. So we had to take her off date , but she has good potential.
We'll next week I'll be in Warden, and I probably won't be doing anything next monday so my letters could get longer, but I'm out of time I need to go back to work.
Love you all, and I pray for you.
Love Elder Garrett
